Connectivity Solutions

Connectivity That GrowsWith YourBusiness

Choosing the right connection is about matching your infrastructure to your operational demands. Most standard business internet is sold as “Best-Effort” (Shared)—much like a public highway where your speed depends on how many other people are driving at the same time. At Barmeda, we give you the choice: high-speed flexibility for agile teams or a Dedicated 1:1 Pipe for enterprise operations that cannot afford a single second of fluctuation.

In a shared environment, you share a pool of bandwidth with other businesses in your area. While it provides high-speed bursts for browsing and standard office tasks, speeds may vary during peak hours when everyone is online. It is a cost-effective, high-performance solution for small-to-medium offices with flexible data needs.
This is a 1:1 connection reserved exclusively for your company. No one else has access to your "lane" on our network. Whether it is 9 AM on a Monday or midnight on a Sunday, your speed remains exactly what you pay for—guaranteed. This is engineered for businesses running mission-critical servers, large-scale video conferencing, or cloud-based ERP systems that require constant, unwavering stability.
Shared internet is subject to "congestion" during high-traffic periods, whereas Dedicated internet remains immune to outside usage patterns, providing a flat-line of consistent performance.
While Shared fiber is maintained with our best-effort priority, Dedicated links come with a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) and a 99.9% Uptime Guarantee, backed by our specialist engineering team.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Subscriptions & Access

How does the 30-day cycle work?
All our plans (Basic, Advanced, and Executive) operate on a strictly pre-paid 30-day basis. Your access begins the moment you subscribe and expires exactly 30 days later.
What happens if I forget to renew?
To keep things fair and automated, our system requires an active subscription for any network activity. If your subscription lapses, you won't be able to write or access the internet. You’ll be prompted to renew to regain access immediately.
Can I get a refund if I leave the office early?
Subscriptions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a 30-day cycle is activated, it remains active for that specific office unit until it expires.

    Speed & Performance

Why is my upload speed slow, or why are my applications “choking”?
Before assuming you need to upgrade to a higher plan, it is important to identify if there is a technical bottleneck affecting your current connection. Unlike many standard providers, Barmeda’s infrastructure is engineered for high-performance stability, and "choking" is often a sign of a physical or configuration issue rather than a lack of bandwidth.
Our Troubleshooting Process: If you notice lag during video calls or slow file uploads, inform our technical team immediately. We will not simply push an upgrade; instead, we will perform a deep-dive diagnostic to fix the root cause:
Signal Testing: We check the light levels on your fiber line to ensure there is no physical damage or interference.
Packet Loss Analysis: We monitor the connection to see if data "drops" are occurring, which causes applications to stutter or "choke."
Hardware Audit: We verify that your router and local network hardware are capable of handling your plan’s full speed.
Symmetry Verification: Barmeda plans are designed for high-upload efficiency. If your upload is significantly lower than your download, our engineers will recalibrate your link to restore peak performance.
The Barmeda Rule: We believe in Optimization before Upgradation. If your current plan should be handling your workflow but isn't, we will troubleshoot and fix the issue first. Only once your link is healthy and your business needs have truly outgrown the capacity will we discuss moving you to a larger "Pipe."

    Security & Fair Play

Can I share my connection with the office next door?
No. Your subscription is for your specific office unit only. Reselling or sharing the connection outside your agreement is a breach of terms and may lead to a permanent block or termination of the service.
What happens if the internet goes down?
We aim for 99.9% uptime. For the all Plan, we provide a high priority. We resolve issues within 24 hours.
Can I pause my subscription if my office is closed or I am traveling?
Yes. We understand the flexibility required for business travel and seasonal operations. If you inform us in advance of your departure, we can place a Service Hold on your account. Your subscription will be paused until your return, ensuring you only pay for the connectivity you actually use. Please contact our support team to schedule your pause and reactivation dates.
How will I be notified before my service expires?
We prioritize your uptime. Our automated management system sends proactive Service Alerts via SMS and Email exactly 7 days before your current subscription is set to expire. This gives your finance or IT team a full week to manage renewals, ensuring zero interruption to your business-critical operations.
What is the restoration protocol for Office Internet (FTTx) downtime?
Our Office Fiber (FTTx) operates on a physical infrastructure that can occasionally be affected by external environmental factors (such as municipal roadworks or power fluctuations). In the event of an outage, our engineering team follows a Priority Restoration Protocol to resolve the issue using our best efforts. While shared fiber does not carry the same rigid Service Level Agreement (SLA) as our Dedicated links, we understand the impact of downtime. If a specific incident significantly disrupts your business continuity, our team is available to conduct an Individual Service Review to evaluate your case and ensure your connectivity needs are being met.

    Hardware & Setup

Do I need to purchase my own router or hardware?
No. Barmedas provides the specialized Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) required to establish and manage your high-speed link. To ensure maximum stability and allow our engineers to perform remote diagnostics, this hardware remains the property of Barmedas. However, if you require additional internal distribution—such as extra WiFi access points, switches, or local area network (LAN) expansions—you are welcome to integrate your own hardware or consult with us for a custom-engineered solution.
What if the router gets damaged?
You are responsible for the physical safety of the equipment in your space. We highly recommend using a power stabilizer, as damage from power surges or physical neglect will be billed to the account holder.
