If my internet goes down, will my Gas or Leakage sensors still work?
Local Safety First: Yes. The sensors and the Hub communicate via Zigbee, which is a local radio frequency. Even if the internet is down, the siren will still sound in the house to alert you. However, you will only receive the phone notification once the internet is restored.
How often do I need to change the batteries in the sensors?
Our low-power safety sensors typically last 12 to 18 months on a single battery. The "Central Brain" app will send you a low-battery notification weeks before they actually run out, so you are never left unprotected.
Can my whole family control the home, or just me?
You are the "Admin." You can share access with family members or staff. You can also set "Permissions"—for example, you can give a guest the ability to control the lights, but not the security cameras or the front gate.
